Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Archivepanel, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our service.

Archivepanel is operated by Sverige Analytics AB (organization number 559538-4917), a company registered in Sweden with its registered office in Umeå, Sweden.

Service Description

Archivepanel is a web archiving service that allows you to capture and store snapshots of web pages. We provide automated scheduling, storage, and retrieval of these snapshots.

Account Registration

To use Archivepanel, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
Providing accurate and current information

Free Trial

Archivepanel offers a 14-day free trial period for new accounts. No credit card is required to start your trial. At the end of the trial period, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the service. If you do not subscribe, your account will be deactivated and your data will be scheduled for deletion.

Billing and Payment

Archivepanel uses Stripe, a third-party payment processor, to handle all payment transactions. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees.

Our pricing consists of:

Base monthly fee: €5.00
Storage fee: €1.00 per GB stored per month

Billing occurs monthly on the anniversary of your subscription start date. Storage fees are calculated based on your actual storage usage during the billing period. All prices are in euros (EUR) and include applicable VAT where required.

You are responsible for providing current, complete, and accurate billing information. Failure to pay any fees may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to the service until the end of that period.

We do not offer refunds for partial months of service or for any storage fees incurred. All fees paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Archive content that infringes on intellectual property rights
Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Attempt to circumvent security features or access restrictions
Archive private or password-protected content without authorization
Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm others
Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
Archive content containing malware or harmful code
Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Content Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you archive through our service. By using Archivepanel, you grant us the right to store and display your archived snapshots solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to archive any content you submit to our service. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to archive content through our service.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance.

We are not responsible for the availability of third-party websites you choose to archive.

Data Backup and Retention

While we implement backup procedures, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important content. We recommend downloading critical snapshots for local storage.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account termination or deletion, your archived snapshots will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Intellectual Property

The Archivepanel service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and other content (excluding user-submitted content), is owned by Sverige Analytics AB and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sverige Analytics AB and Archivepanel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of archived snapshots, or for any loss of data. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sverige Analytics AB, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of Archivepanel is subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which maintains its own privacy policy and terms of service. We do not store your complete payment card information on our servers.

Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the dashboard. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion with or without notice.

Upon termination, your archived snapshots will be permanently deleted within 30 days. You will not be entitled to any refund of fees already paid.

Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We will notify users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect.

If you do not agree to the modified terms, you may cancel your account before the changes take effect.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden, with Umeå District Court as the court of first instance.

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sverige Analytics AB regarding the use of Archivepanel and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
